Manicure session and my 1st earring!

Hubby sent me to CWP after work for my manicure session as it's Lynn's wedding tomorrow :) Luckily this time it's better, the lady, Yen was pretty careful and patient. I did a acrylic french manicure and it lasted for about 2h15 minutes... Guess what, this is only my 3rd time doing manicure *lol*

After my manicure session, I went to THE FACE SHOP to purchase bb cream, plenty of good comments and I decided to try and total 25% off, worth it! Met up with Angie to collect the Made with love earring from her ^^

Thank you Angie!

Angie was having OT today and I can see that she is very tired and yet, she still insisted to walk with me to the bus stop and waited the bus with me before she walk home... Saw Din, my ex-colleagues from Asiapac and chatted with him until I got off the bus, it's good to see old colleagues again ^^ It been a very very long time since I last took bus home and saw plenty of new staff happening during the night ... *hehe*

Bedtime at 11+ish, have to wake up at 5am later ... ZZzzzzz

ECP, here we go :)

Met a very kiasu uncle in his early 30's this morning while I was taking train to work... Well, of course, I can't expect much from Singaporean. Here's what happened... I was queuing for my turn to get in the train and this man just cut infront of me as he saw there's 1 seat available and he used his fastest speed to get the the empty seat. That is really a ugly side, that totally turn me off as he don't even to give his seat up for the elderly. *sigh* How I wish I'm in Taiwan...

Made with love album for my FIL and Only is finally ready but the album can be better. The timing is too rush for me but I'm glad they like it and my FIL told us that he was pretty touched :)

Here is some of the pictures for the scrape book...
Hubby came and fetch me at about 5.15pm with his Dad and Only, we then drive over to PS as hubby need to change to a new Mac book Pro as the current one has got some strange sound. It's still the same after changing to another Mac book Pro, just that the strange sound is slightly softer. We walked around the mall as it's still too early to head to ECP to catch up with Stella and Sam at 730pm. We went to buy some treats for Whisky, it's Whisky lucky day today :P

Reached ECP at about 700pm and we decided to walked around and take some shots, it have been a long time since hubby and I been there... People jogging, walking their dogs, roller-blading, kiting, "par-tor-ing" and etc etc... We later on head over to old town to wait for them and ended up they are already there *lol* We sat down and chatted for about 1h30 minutes before sending my FIL and Only to the airport, they are leaving Singapore tonight. Forgot to take a group photo during our makan session @ old town.. *sigh*

Pictures taken while waiting for Stella and Sam @ ECP...

I'm so tired... It's Friday tomorrow and going to PINC to do up my nails and hopefully they won't disappoint me again. As the timing is quite rush, I'm unable to booked other places...
I will definitely complain them this time if the same thing happen again...

Quote of the day: Special Olympics

A few years ago at the Seattle Special Olympics, nine contestants, all physically or mentally disabled, assembled at the starting line for the 100-yard dash. At the gun, they all started out, not exactly in a dash, but with a relish to run the race to the finish and win.

All, that is, except one boy who stumbled on the asphalt, tumbled over a couple of times and began to cry. The other eight heard the boy cry. They slowed down and looked back. They all turned around and went back. Every one of them.

One girl with Down’s Syndrome bent down and kissed him and said, “This will make it better.” All nine linked arms and walked across the finish line together.

Everyone in the stadium stood, and the cheering went on for several minutes. People who were there are still telling the story. Why? Because deep down we know this one thing: What matters in this life is more than winning for ourselves.

What truly matters in this life is helping others win, even if it means slowing down and changing our course.

Origins:
The story is more true than not, although its primary point has been grossly exaggerated. According to folks at the Special Olympics Washington office, the incident happened at a 1976 track and field event held in Spokane, Washington. A contestant did take a tumble, and one or two of the other athletes turned back to help the fallen one, culminating in their crossing the finish line together, but it was only one or two, not everyone in the event. The others continued to run their race.

The story is thus not about an entire class of “special people” who spontaneously tossed aside their own dreams of going for gold in favor of helping a fallen competitor, but rather one about a couple of individuals who chose to go to the aid of another contestant. Unfortunately, this tale as it is now being told helps further a stereotype that deficiencies in intelligence are compensated for by unfailingly sweet natures and a way of looking at the world in childlike wonder.

Special Olympians train long and hard for their events and are every bit as committed as athletes who compete in any other athletic endeavors. The Special Olympics are not a casual get-together organized to give less fortunate members of the community a day to socialize and perhaps run in a foot race or two. They’re highly organized sporting events taken very seriously by all involved, with each competitor striving to do his best. It’s about trying. And succeeding.

The Special Olympics oath is “Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.”

Well done, Whisky poo on my sofa...

Well, Tuesday blue for me and busy day for me, sigh... Anyway, don't want to talk about my job. It's frustrating...

Hubby came picking me up and on our way back, there's 2 accident along CTE, luckily there is no one injured and of course slow traffic. We head to our favorite teochew porridge again and head home straight. When hubby and I are almost reaching our door step he told me he forgot to inform me that Whisky poo on the sofa!!! *ARgh* While I was walking, i told him he's so dead, when I open up the door and he is getting ready to greet me but I grab him up to the sofa and asked him what he had done and punished him. Luckily the poo is not those soft kind if not he is really so dead... Unforgivable!

Watch some tv programs and rested for about 1h30minutes and started my WII EA Active session ^^ Nice to sweat again~

Hubby called his dad and they will be leaving Singapore this coming Thursday and we will send them to the airport.
Guess what, I left some photographs in the office and forgot to bring it back and so... I did not manage to continue today but luckily just left some touch up to be done only. *phew*

Sigh, It's only Wednesday tomorrow...
Weekend please come faster . . .

Only and Henry ROM

The Ceremony started at about 11am sharp, wishing them a happy and blissful married. Baby girl will arrive in end September ^^ I'm pretty excited for Only and she also allowed me to touch her belly and I can feel her little girl legs...

After the Ceremony, we head over to Thomson Plaza for Sakae Sushi and the room was specially booked by my FIL. 3 ladies wearing dresses and we got a hard time getting "into" the seats and out of the seats. The seats is a disaster for ladies... *lol* Not forgetting the food was yummy and thanks to my FIL ^^

After our yummy lunch we head back and I get ready for the durian cake we bought at Goodwood Park, the maid hates and dislike durian... the smells made her leave a distance from me while I was cutting the durian cakes *lol* Everyone loves the durian cake *phew*

Here are some of the pictures taken today, pictures speaks louder then words :P

The ceremony...

The couple...

Group photo...

All White and me me me :P

Canon EOS Camera, a pity that this picture is a little blur-ish....

We left at about 300pm as Hubby need to collect cheque from Ubi and while on our journey back I fell asleep in the car with my head moving left, right, down... That's normal ma while sleeping in car. Hubby told me to lower my seat but I refused... *lol* I slept for about 30 minutes and hubby was tempted to sleep too but he's driving so.... he can't... *hehe* When we are about to reach, it started raining and I told hubby, go home and wash up and I will head to bed straight *lol* But, I didn't as I have to rush out the Made with Love scrape book for Only and my FIL as they are returning on Wednesday or Thursday.

Head out to CWP to develop the photographs taken this morning and walked around the mall for a bit as my we have a dinner date with my parent at about 8pm and it was still early. Head to Four leave to buy some bread for breakfast tomorrow and while I was at the cashier preparing to pay, I saw Angie. What a coincidence ^^ Oh yea, Angie told me my earring is ready, made with love by Angie and I can wear it on Lynn's wedding this coming Saturday. Thanks Angie xD

Head to 834 to meet up with my parents for dinner, it have been a long time since we have our dinner together and it's daddy treat today, thanks daddy ^^Although my daddy is a little annoying sometime but I still love him and of cos not forgetting Mummy. They will ordered my favourite dishes and asked me if the dishes they ordered was ok...

Finished the last Oreo durian cake today and gave Whisky some durian as I am really too full and I have also taken the durian cake this afternoon. Whisky gave out quite a long burp *eeew* Is this how dog react when they eat durian? Anyway, Oreo durian cake taste yummy too, carrot... you can try it but of course the durian strudel is the best!

Was watching channel 8, 103opm some true ghost stories and the exciting/scary part came... Somehow Whisky quickly jump up on the sofa and put his head on my lap... He can "feel" that I'm scared? *lol* Used to love horror and disgusting show last time but somehow, I feel that I have become timid, could it be due to I have been shower with lots of love by hubby?

Love is beautiful <3

Lim's Families mini gathering

Supposed to wake up at 930am today but it's simply irresistible for me to continue my beauty sleep until 1030am.. *lol* We head down to triple8 for our breakfast and had roti prata. Hubby said he will never visit the prata shop again, hygiene issue....

Head to NTUC to purchase additional fruits, long gan and Mango for my Almond Jelly topping ^^

Posted by Picasa
Took about 30 minutes for me to cut the mangox2 into cube and long gan into half... *slow*
Anyway, quickly head over to Stella's place as we are late but guess what, we are still the 1st to reach.... *hehe* Ordered KFC and Pizza for our meals, we also have durians, variety of fruits, cheese cake, ice cream and my Almond Jelly...

Here are some pictures taken today;

We had a 2 hour of majong session and of course, I'm not pro... Although I'm the one playing but behind me is the pro-master, Mr. Alvin Mark Lim... My dear hubby... *lol* We are the Winner of the day ^^ We left at about 500pm as we need to head over to Goodwood Park to collect the cakes/strudel that I have ordered on Friday. But hubby suggested we can head over to ION for a walk first and of course I'm happy... *shopping ^^* Wanted to head over to LV and take a look on wallets but the queue is freaking long and I don't wish to queue for it but hubby told me he will queue for me, ended up I pulled him away as I'm excited what is this new mall going to bring. To my disappointed, it's just so-so and I would prefer VivoCity. ION is more for the rich people... *lol* Oh yes, the biggest LV in Singapore will have to be in ION, 2 levels.

My previous Adidas Bag had served me for about 3 years and decided it's time to let go as the shoulder strap cannot be used any more and the "leather" of the bag is slowly coming out.... and ta dahhhh... hubby bought me this bag from everlast ^^ I love it ^^ Thank you baby :)

The Everlast is trying to be like LV? I mean, for the Tag.

645pm, We went to Goodwood Park to collect the yummy durian cake and strudel. Initially, we requested the staff to cut the cake for us but it's frozen and if we wanted them to cut, we have to wait for about 30 minutes for the cake to defrost. So I told the staff it's ok, I will do it myself then :) Also ordered 1 durian strudel and 1 oreo durian cake... *sinful*

Yummy Sinful Durian Desserts xD

Additional 15% off for Citibank and DBS card holder but the total damage done was S$110++
As I have ordered 2x 1.3kg durian cake, 1 for my FIL tomorrow ROM plus half for Carrot and 2 piece each for Angie and Mummy... Hubby drove me to fetch Mummy & Daddy back home, and also drove me to deliver the cakes to Carrot & Angie ^^ Daddy gave us a pack of crab beehoon and it's ridiculously expensive, S$75.00! It will be a big No No for me to purchase this beehoon... :P But it's very delicious... 2 thumbs up!

Channel 5 showing Fantastic 4, watching and happily eating our crab beehoon, My face is obviously getting rounder *sigh* Hubby was really very patience with the crab, he will removed the shell of the crab and gave it to me, in a 1 nice and big piece <3

Lynn's Tan wedding is just around the corner and I hope I can still fit in my white dress *amen*
Yeah, off day for me tomorrow but will still have to wake up early to for my FIL ROM, they will be returning this Wednesday or Thursday and hopefully, I can get the album ready on time. It's a challenge this time, only 1 day for me to deco the album and get the photo printed real soon...

Macbook Pro for us ^^

Had a good night rest and only woke up at about 10pm this morning ^^

Whisky nails is starting to irritates me and asked hubby to cut his nails for me, I am pretty afraid to cut Whisky nails, to him... it's super sensitive... Before that, I groom him + a good shower for him as well... How lucky dogs are nowadays... don't you agreed?

Left home at about 1.00pm to head to PS for hubby long awaited Mac Book Pro 15" 2.8GHz. While on our journey to PS, hubby suggested that I should get it too and I told him I will think about it *lol* We went for our lunch first before heading to BEST for his Mac Book Pro, we had our yummy lunch at PS kopitiam, Japanese food and it's pretty good and affordable~ My favourite colour is white and Mac book is the only laptop that comes in white and reasonable pricing, at S$1598 but white will become yellowish in no time... Told hubby to get his first and mine can wait and he told me just get it. Love Mac Book Air for it slim design but pricing wise not very practical and ended up I choose Mac Book Pro 13" while hubby got Mac Book Pro 15". It also come with S$210 voucher for us to purchase 3rd party product and we bought iWork 09 and a i-phone car wind-screen holder. Lester, the salesperson told us that iWork 09 ic currently out of stock, so hubby get him to check whether he could do transfer of stock and luckily yeah ^^ waited for about an hour for iWork to arrived... Additional 1% rebates as Best having some promo ;)

Here our loots for today ^^
Posted by Picasa
Lester went to Junction8 to collect the iWork for us, while waiting for him we went to Carrefour to purchase ingredients for tomorrow mini party at Stella's place. Decided to make Almond + Strawberry + Mango & Kiwi and bring over tomorrow. We also grabbed 6 apples in a bag and head to the counter paying, we head out of Carrefour and hubby was asking whether he can put the apples into the plastic bag and I was like OMG, did we even pay for that? I check the receipt and hell no, we did not pay for the apple. Hubby was happily carrying the apples + a shopping bag, which he didn't realized he is holding the apples. We have free apples! *lol*

Head on to Made with Love to purchase a DIY scrapbook and this time it's for my FIL and his wife. They are holding their ROM on 27 July 2009 and hubby & I decided to make 1 album that consist all their ROM photographs. Hope that will like it ;)

Lester is back from Junction8 at about 530pm and we quickly head over as I have a appointment with Lynn Tan at 6pm and I'm late. SMS Aurora and asked her where she is and she told me she will be late too and I asked her if she wanted to wait for me for about 20 minutes so my hubby can drive us that and she's ok with it. Pick her up at CWP taxi stand and head home to pick Whisky ^^ We reached Lynn's place at about 630pm and dinner time! From 933 golden pillow *yummy* Ronny reached at about 730pm and we started our discussion for Lynn's wedding. Our discussion lasted for about 1hour 30 minutes but have not finalised the gate crushing part and Lynn's wedding is just next Saturday... Her contract is not ready as well... Jiayou girl!

Lynn's goldie, Shasha was quite a Saliva Queen... My Whisky face is stained with Shasha saliva... There was once, Shasha run pass and she happened to step on my toe and it's omg, freaking painful... Aurora and hubby got it as well *lol*

Here are some pictures taken my hubby ^^

Sent the ladies to the nearest MRT station and we head home after that. Hubby is happy with his loots today, so do I =D Started preparing Almond jelly and the fruits, I'm short of Mango and will get it tomorrow morning~

Mac Book Pro is fantastic! We are loving it ^^

Hormones went crazy... >.<

It's Friday! Thank god :P I love Friday~~

Hubby sent me to work this morning and traffic wasn't really smooth today, took about 40 minutes to reach office today. Hubby head over to upper Thomson to fetch his dad to help him with some errands today, he's his dad "Ahmad" today :P

Hubby then called me in the afternoon informing me that we will have dinner with his wife + soon to be wife and I was shock as my dressing today was quite sloppy or I should said, super casual... I'm wearing Company's T-shirt... Supposed to have lunch with my colleagues but told them to go ahead as I need to go Liang court to search for a presentable shirt. Yeah, I'm fussy... *hehe* Spent about 30 minutes searching for the ideal shirt and thank god, I managed to grab one ^^, I also bought a pair of Ripple slipper ^^

Pretty busy with work and feeling a little upset with my work today as well... *sigh*
My mobile signal is office is bad to worst, Starhub failed! Anyway, that is not the point. Hubby called me at about 3pm and told me Best Denki @ PS will have 1 set of Mac book Pro 15" 2.8GHz coming in tomorrow and I told him to order it, I know how bad he wanted the Mac Book :) Received another call form Hubby telling me he's already here and I was asking where is his dad and Only and he told me he send them back already and i was like ???, thought we are having dinner. Anyway, to cut it short... The dinner was canceled as they finished their at about 4pm and Only is pregnant, hubby can see she is very tired and they have to wait for me to knock off... that will be 2hours wait~ :S So, hubby decided to sent them back first...

Head to Sembawang for our Teochew porridge, We love eating there... The steam fresh fishy and variety of vegetable and other food, Reasonable pricing and fresh! Went back home and decide to bring Whisky out for a walk but to my horror... I open up the door, I saw a WII game was chewed and definitely gone case. Moreover, the game belong to Carrot! Omg, I quickly sms her and told her about it and she asked is Whisky really a dog? *lol* Lucky thing is, the CD is inside our WII, just that the CD case and some pages is gone. Whisky know he did something wrong and gave us a "sad" face, but he cant escape the cane session and this time, it's from me!

Here is what Whisky did...

Rested for about 1hour30 minutes and started my exercise on Wii, have to select easy mode today as my leg is aching terribly :P About to sleep and hubby hop onto the bed and started to massage my leg... thanks baby

Hormones went crazy again... Luckily, hubby is here with me... always :)

I can feel my body aching already >.<

10 Principles for Peace of Mind

1. Do Not Interfere In Others’ Business Unless Asked:

Most of us create our own problems by interfering too often in others’ affairs. We do so because somehow we have convinced ourselves that our way is the best way, our logic is the perfect logic and those who do not conform to our thinking must be criticized and steered to the right direction, our direction. This thinking denies the existence of individuality and consequently the existence of God.. God has created each one of us in a unique way. No two human beings can think or act in exactly the same way. All men or women act the way they do because God within them prompts them that way. Mind your own business and you will keep your peace.

2. Forgive And Forget:

This is the most powerful aid to peace of mind. We often develop ill feelings inside our heart for the person who insults us or harms us. We nurture grievances. This in turn results in loss of sleep, development of stomach ulcers, and high blood pressure. This insult or injury was done once, but nourishing of grievance goes on forever by constantly remembering it. Get over this bad habit. Life is too short to waste in such trifles. Forgive,20Forget, and march on. Love flourishes in giving and forgiving.

3. Do Not Crave For Recognition:

This world is full of selfish people. They seldom praise anybody without selfish motives. They may praise you today because you are in power, but no sooner than you are powerless, they will forget your achievement and will start finding faults in you. Why do you wish to kill yourse lf in striving for their recognition? Their recognition is not worth the aggravation. Do your duties ethically and sincerely.

4. Do Not Be Jealous:

We all have experienced how jealousy can disturb our peace of mind. You know that you work harder than your colleagues in the office, but sometimes they get promotions; you do not. You started a business several years ago, but you are not as successful as your neighbor whose business is only one year old. There are several examples like these in everyday life. Should you be jealous? No. Remember everybody’s life is shaped by his/her destiny, which has now become his/her reality. If you are destined to be rich, nothing in the world can stop you. If you are not so destined, no one can help you either. Nothing will be gained by blaming others for your misfortune. Jealousy will not get you anywhere; it will only take away your peace of mind.

5. Change Yourself According To The Environment:

If you try to change the environment single-handedly, the chances are you will fail. Instead, change yourself to suit your environment. As you do this, even the environment, which has been unfriendly to you, will mysteriously change and seem congenial and harmonious.

6. Endure What Cannot Be Cured:

This is the best way to turn a disadvantage into an advantage. Every day we face numerous inconveniences, ailments, irritations, and accidents that are beyond our control. If we cannot control them or change them, we must learn to put up with these things. We must learn to endure them cheerfully. Believe in yourself and you will gain in terms of patience, inner strength and will power.

7. Do Not Bite Off More Than You Can Chew:

This maxim needs to be remembered constantly. We often tend to take more responsibilities than we are capable of carrying out. This is done to satisfy our ego. Know your limitations. . Why take on additional loads that may create more worries? You cannot gain peace of mind by expanding your external activities. Reduce your material engagements and spend time in prayer, introspection and meditation. This will reduce those thoughts in your mind that make you restless. Uncluttered mind will produce greater peace of mind.

8. Meditate Regularly:

Meditation calms the mind and gets rid of disturbing thoughts. This is the highest state of peace of mind. Try and experience it yourself. If you meditate earnestly for half an hour everyday, your mind will tend to become peaceful during the remaining twenty-three and half-hours. Your mind will not be easily disturbed as it was before. You would benefit by gradually increasing the period of daily meditation. You may think that this will interfere with your daily work. On the contrary, this will increase your efficiency and you will be able to produce better results in less time.

9. Never Leave The Mind Vacant:

An empty mind is the devil’s workshop. All evil actions start in the vacant mind. Keep your mind occupied in something positive, something worthwhile. Actively follow a hobby. Do something that holds your interest. You must decide what you value more: money or peace of mind. Your hobby, like social work or religious work, may not always earn you more money, but you will have a sense of fulfillment and achievement. Even when you are resting physically, occupy yourself in healthy reading or mental chanting of God’s name.

10. Do Not Procrastinate And Never Regret:

Do not waste time in protracted wondering ” Should I or shouldn’t I?” Days, weeks, months, and years may be wasted in that futile mental debating. You can never plan enough because you can never anticipate all future happenings. Value your time and do the things that need to be done. It does not matter if you fail the first time. You can learn from your mistakes and succeed the next time. Sitting back and worrying will lead to nothing. Learn from your mistakes, but do not brood over the past. DO NOT REGRET. Whatever happened was destined to happen only that way. Why cry over spilt milk?

Rainy and very cooling weather on my way to work this morning~ Everyone seem to be crazy about the eclipse but for me it’s like… Ohhh, really… ok… *lol*
I was feeling so tired and sleepy the whole day, drunk 1 cup of coffee and it doesn’t really helps, to me caffeine is useless because no matter what time I drink I can still sleep soundly ^^

Hubby came over to have lunch with me, today is Wednesday and it’s Nasi Lemak @ Venus Café. Still very yummy to us, we love it just that their speed on food serving should be faster… Our initial plan was to head over to Funan to purchase Mac Book Pro but ended up we went for a walk at cold storage as Hubby called to Challenger and check the stocks status and whole Singapore is out of stocks, that’s really powerful… :P Anyway, hubby decided to buy TO-TO and he’s a noob, he told the lady at the counter he wants S$.050 roll and I was asking him how come the total payable came up to S$40.00++, he told me he have no idea so I take a look at the To-To slip and to my horror there is a *R* printed on it, expensive number! Asked the lady if we can void that and phew, yeah… The lady was telling my hubby not to said Roll next time and I told him just told the person he wants quickpck S$0.50 will do, don’t have to include the word roll…

Saw Ian & Eng in cold storage and hubby offered to drive them back to office, although it’s only a short distance from UE square to Office *hehe* Hubby left and head over Clifford place to discuss about their plans on I-phone application… SMS Joe in the afternoon asking whether he is still interested in adopting Westie and he reply Oh my, they have already adopted a mix breed Westie but will help me ask around to see if anyone is interested. Whisky fated to be with me?

Yay, finally… time to knock off and we head to CWP to try our luck to see if there is any Mac Book Pro available in Courts but sad to said, no stocks as well…. Same goes to I-phone… Hubby bought me a red slim belt and a black cardigan as there’s promo in Metro and new shop opening at level 2, Cotton on~ Went to comic connection to check out if there is any promo for EA Active personal Trainer, S$85.40 *too expensive*, shall try Funan as hubby told me there is additional S$10 off, which I only pay about S$76.00 but I am still hoping to get a 2nd hand one as the pricing is more reasonable. Went home about 8pm and no WII today as I need to have a rest from it, cramp on hand is terrible as well…

Turn on my TV and sat down to watch a channel U program called “yi dian xin shi” and today guest is Mo Xiao Ling… Quan yi fong told her that she has got very low IQ and wow, that’s really hurting but I have to agreed with Quan Yi Fong… There is advertisement in between the show, during advertisement time I will dash into the room to annoy my hubby… That what I like to do, poor hubby right… Hubby always like to said “You just like to irritates me right”? Yeah, I do~ ^^

Basically, I was rotting in front of my TV yesterday, from 830pm to 1015pm :P After shower, we had our pillow talk and hubby was making me LOL, reading some of the bible stories for me and patting me to sleep… I’m just like a little baby *hahahahahaha* ^^

Life is perfect with my dearest hubby around me all the time, <3 Alvin Mark Lim <3

Going to Henderson waves this Saturday and bringing our Whisky too =D

Busy + Sleepy Tuesday~

Slept for another 1 hour 15 minutes today, all thanks to hubby... As he is sending me to work *yippee*
Smooth traffic today, reached office in 28 minutes and I was early *lol*

Busy day ahead and con-call at 2pm~ Was pretty much looking into my computer screen rushing out some data @_@
Seriously, communicating with F.women really makes my blood boiled, I asked a simple question... e.g. Yes or No... Ended up, she sent me 2 files that consist of 40 pages and ask me to read thru to see if I can see the answer from there... *argh*

Con-call ended at about 2.40pm ^^ Plenty of things to do but I like... *hehe* The guys returned from their lunch and Ian bought a Sara Lee strawberry cheese cake ( I think it's strawberry) for all of us, thanks Ian!

Hubby told me that "Only" went for the ultrasound scan and it's a girl, "Only" was very happy as she prefer girl and she can doll her up :)

Busy Monday

Monday Blue + Busy Monday...
Although I'm taking my own sweet to prepare myself for work today but I still managed to reach office on time... *lol*

Plenty of email to reply today, received one email from SP saying that they will send 4 hardcopies of agreement over for my MD and CEO signature... 1 booklet consist of 64 pages x 4 booklet and they have to sign on every pages.... *lol* Told my colleagues to go ahead for lunch as I need to wait for the document from SP and I will head for lunch later... Received the document at about 12.45pm and started sorting out the details for my MD signature...

Head to UE Square for lunch @ Venus Cafe again, Dry Mee Siam with Chicken *yum yum* Head back to office and saw a blue plastic bag on my desk and Eng told me that's from my boss, I was like O-O *lol* Ian msn me and told me he bought me eclair ... Wow, they want me to grow fat, hehe.. Thanks guys!

MD signed the document and I need my CEO signature... As my CEO is in France, I have to arrange a express courier over and so, I called DHL... The lady told me the pick up timing will be before 6pm and she quoted me S$61.59, I even got the cheque ready... 5.30pm, 5.50pm, 6.15pm and the pick up guy is still not here yet and so I called DHL and this lady told me there is no record of my booking! *WTH* Anyway, I shall cut it short, this lady arranged for a pick up tomorrow morning 10am-12pm instead of today, DHL wasted my time and guess what... The prices is different, I was first quoted S$61.59 and the 2nd call she quoted me S$71.78! I am so freaking pissed... I told the lady I was quote S$61.59 blah blah blah... She apologize and told me S$71.78 should be the correct amount...!@#$%&... Left office at about 630pm today *argh* Poor hubby waited for me downstair for about 30 minutes... Before I left, my boss asked me whether do I have any idea what DHL stands for? I told him and and I don't want to know either but "DH" I have no idea, L should be Logistics... He told me, DHL stands for "Deliver halfway Lost" *ROFL* good one!

Wanted to head home straight but the traffic is freaking Jam, usually the traffic sign board will show 18-22 minutes to Woodlands Ave 2 but today it's 35 minutes so we decided to head to Tiong Bahru Plaza for our dinner. There's a roadshow at Level 1 on Facial and Massage so I get Hubby to go for shoulder massage, 15 minutes for S$10.00 *hehe* He told me it's a disaster... lolx... I suddenly have a craving for Japanese food and told hubby to bring me to Sakae Sushi and he did^^, the queue was not long but the wait was like about 10 minutes...

Went for a walk in TBP and purchase some bread for tomorrow breakfast and hubby went to AXS to pay for his car installment as well...
No idea why, Hubby started to feel unwell... No strength, giddy, feel like vomiting... Seem like he is Pregnant... *lol* But I'm glad he is ok now =D

Went to Esso on our way home to top up the petrol and top up cash card, when we are heading out of Esso saw Ambulance and people crowding around the traffic light area and I saw a school boy about 10-12 years old lying on the floor... I pray to god he will be alright *amen*

I'm going to sleep early tonight! No WII for me today as... My right hand cramp this afternoon *lol*

FIL is in Town :)

Hubby received a call from his dad at about 8am this morning and told him they are in Singapore already, Hubby was quite shocked as he told his dad to call him when he board the plane in Beijing but he didn't as he is afraid that he might wake us up as the plane left at about 1.30am... From 8pm, they waited till 1am+ *omg right*

Hubby wake me up so warmly and sweet, he was also smiling while wake me... He told me he's happy to wake up me as most of the time I am always the one waking up first and kiss good-bye to him... hehe... I quickly prepare my self while Hubby iron my clothing for me, thank you baby =D

We reached the airport pick up point at about 9.00am but we didn't see them as we told them we will each at about 9.10am... I was surprised to see 8 people with mask on, the feeling is like.. I'm in hospital. -___-" The security came to chase me from the pick up point and hubby wasn't around.. He went inside to look for them, before that he made a few call to his dad but no pick up...The security told me maximum waiting time only 10 minutes... Anyway, phew... They came out just in time ^^

Only, My FIL wifey was about 7 months pregnant and I guess it's a boy ... From her look? They always said if it's a boy Mama will be ugly, if it's a girl, Mama will be prettier... While I was expecting my boy, I can see the changes on my face ... so Eeeks... Told Hubby to prepare for the worst on my look and he was very assured that no matter how I become, fat or ugly he will still love me like crazy... For that, I can count on him *whahahahaha* He's quite poor thingy right... :P

Hubby dropped his dad and wife to Stella's place as it's very spacious and with nicer environment but bad thing is their room is on the 3rd level, so for a pregnant women it's quite tiring... As there's stocks at home and lots of dust on it and it isn't a ideal place for them to stay with us and aircon in guest room is out of order...Counting down to new flat as we need to stay for another 1.5 years as government have a rule for HDB... Have to stay in for at least 5 years before we can sell it*zzz* Anyway, we went to AMK Hub for our breakfast and some window shopping and bought some grocery again... It's like a war is coming soon in AMK Hub NTUC *lol* While making our payment I saw MR BEAN! *omg* My favourite soya milk + their cheese pancake ^^ Before that hubby already bought me Jollibean soya milk but hubby still buy me another cup to bring home + the cheese pancake of course... :P

Reached home at about 1.00pm and started preparing the food for Dinner as we planned to take a nap first, sooo tired... We slept for about 4hours, hubby is so dead... I am sure he will have difficulties to sleep tonight :P We woke up at about 6.00pm and I started to prepare our dinner ^^

Here is what I prepare today;

1. Chicken Essence + Chicken + Potato + Egg
2. Sweet Potato + lean meat + Prawns

Have to apply for leave on 27 July 2009 as My FIL will be having his ROM in Singapore... We will also be bringing them to Goodwood park for Durian session! *yiiipppepee*

Logged on to Facebook and saw Esther post on her fats growing on her... Just want to tell her, she is very blessed and gaining weight is a good thing or I should said... It's a part of pregnancy, if you did not gain weight during pregnancy, you should be very worried... You don't have to care about what your friends or anyone said about you, they are just jealous and ignorance... Ignore what they said or accept it with a smile as it's really a happy moment, don't let them affect you... Be happy :)

Oh my god, It's Monday tomorrow *sigh*
I'm growing fat fat fat but I'm happy :)

Wii time with hubby again ^^

Saturday Wii session with the Ong's Family + Carrot cake making session...

Because Mini Ong is coming, I have to make sure my house to really... CLEAN *lol* Took about 2 hours for the cleaning while hubby take care of Whisky grooming session ^^ Luckily he didn't sneeze this time... *phew*

Carrot sms me at about 2pm+ and asked about my unit number as she have forgotten about it and we thought she will be coming over soon and we took our lunch in quite a fast mode... Ended up, they was only here at about 5pm -_-" Reason being, we are very "lucky" as Mini Ong usually sleep 1 hour but today, he slept for 2hours...

Here is what I cook for our Lunch Cum Dinner...
1. Fried Rice
2. Cauliflower + Broccoli + Carrot + Prawn
3. Egg with chicken meat

Anyway, we started with our Wii with 4 pax for MarioParty 8, something like snake and ladder game and winner is Mario, my dear hubby... hehe ;) We had fun but Mini Ong started to "chu pattern" while we are playing Mario Cart, our last game... He started to pull Carrot hair and glasses which really hurts, Carrot was quite pissed and she gave a very lighting beating on Mini Ong hand.. -_-" I guess, for me... It won't be so easy... and I guess I will give my kid a "killer look" and tell him/her NO + Medium - hard beating on the hand.... *lol* Violence ... :P Hubby also prepared some DIY "xiao mai chao" drinks for Carrot & KO plus apple with the skin peeled ^^

Hubby received a call from his Dad, Henry... He was telling him that there is some technical issue with the plane and will be delay... The plane flew for about 20 minutes and later on there's announcement informing everyone that due to oil issue thingy, they have to U-turn back to Beijing. Hubby was telling his dad to call us to let us know when the plane is ready to leave so we can estimated the time to pick him up at the airport...

Hubby and I continue our Wii game for another hour and I started with my Carrot cake making session and it's a success! *omg*

"ta-dahhhhh"... Mmm, It doesnt really look nice but at least I passed this time =D

Weekend always pass so fast :(

To show my appreciation to my dearest hubby ^^

Woke up at about 6.45am today, 30 minutes earlier then usual... Just to prepare breakfast for Hubby ^^

"ta-dahhhhh" Bee Hoon with chicken & egg... (This is mine, bought to office ^^)

Dear baby, I am so glad that you are always by my side, always so loving and doting and to tolerate my spoiltbrat-ness cum stubborn-ness :P Thank you for being so supportive all this while plus your unconditional love, concern + never ending hug & kisses from you everyday. I thank god for giving me such a wonderful husband ^^ I'm so lucky and my hubby is "sway" *lol*

Off to work, used my fastest speed to walk over to Admiratly MRT today as I'm meeting Angie but she is 15 minutes later... Treat it as exercise... hehe... Guess what, she bought Ah-Kun french toast for me but I already have the beehoon already... She insisted so I took it and ate during lunch... Thanks girl :)

Hubby called me during lunch and told me his dad + future wife ONLY, will be coming to Singapore tomorrow and asked me to call my Gynae for appointment... In China, they are no ultrascan as they are not allowed to know the gender of their baby... Called ACJ to checked if there is any slot available next week or the week after but all slot are fully taken up and next available slot will be on 1st Aug, 12pm and 5 Aug, 11am, all left with last slot... How popular is my Gyane.. hehe... Have to call another Gynae tomorrow to book for the earliest slot, said like... next Monday... Oh yeah, they will be holding their ROM in Singapore, 27 August'2009.

Had my Lunch at MacDonald but I have no appetite, my ***** was a***** till the hair on my hand stands... *control control*
Knock off time, and quickly head down and saw hubby, I cannot bear it anymore and COL.... At least, I feel better now...

We went to CWP for our dinner, went to courts after dinner and I purchase 4 ink cartridges for office usage, finally found it as most of the places are currently out of stock... Head to cold storage to buy some ingredient as I decided to cook for tomorrow and Sunday... It's been a long time... *lol* Hopefully it's still edible... *Bless hubby* Saw a long queue at B1, Customer Service Counter and to my horror + surprise... Hubby decided to queue for it and we queue for like, about half an hour *omg* Spent S$80 and you will get a S$5 CWP voucher + a lucky dip if you spent S$50 and above... There is a black lucky draw box with different colour of plastic ball in it, I was telling hubby to go for the dip as I'm afraid that I would get the blue ball... I was watching what prizes they got and this is what I gather...

Red Ball: A black Box, we have no idea what is inside.... Playing Cards? mmm...
Blue Ball: Nail cutter set
Yellow Ball: A bag of goodies with toner, shower foam, ZA 3 step for blemishes, Hand moisture and etc...
Green: Notebook

Hubby was asking me what colour I wanted and I told him YELLOW! He is tall enough so he can actually peek into the black box but he managed to see only blue and yellow ball, but it's more the enough as I wanted yellow ball *lol* That's call cheating..hehe! I tried very hard to control my laughter :P

Wii time again, with LT, KW, Hubby & Myself~

Drizzling this morning and the weather is so nice that I should still be sleeping but it's only Wednesday today, have to drag myself up and get ready for work! *hehe* I guess lots of people applied for leave to rest at home today? Because the train was not pack with people and I even got a place to sit ^^

Head to Sembawang after work for our Teochew porridge again and then head to Sembawang Shopping center to purchase some grocery... Guess what, Hubby bought 1 box of "mao shan wang" and 1 box of x.o durian, 2 boxes for S$20.00... XO durian sux... *yucks*

Lynn Tan and Khaiwen came by my place at about 745pm as Lynn is here to drop me her guest book for some deco, at the moment no idea came up yet... Asked Khaiwen and Lynn to try on our Wii game and Lynn was enjoying herself, she was telling me she can vent her anger... *lol* Her wedding date is drawing near, she is kinda stress... Well, It's normal...hehe...Lynn has got Wii as well but it's like in the storeroom for like half a year to one year -____-"

After they left, it's me and hubby turn! Boxing! *lol* Both of us are having fun and laughing our heart out... Looking forward to the weekend already...:P

The Sands of Forgiveness

A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.

The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand:

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him.

After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone:

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE.

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, “After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?”

The other friend replied “When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.”

LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE.
