Day 6 - 15 Feb 10 - Skiing ^^

Breakfast for today..
Listening to Coco for skiing instruction...
We are early and I'm glad we did...
As our Olympus u-tough camera have died and our Canon camera is too bulky to bring it along with us while skiing, we locked it inside the locked. After skied for about an hour and I'm sweating and am tired, I decided to head over to the locker and to retrieve the camera and seriously, I'm so glad I did if not there won't be the following photograph.

The journey to the locker was pretty hard, ski shoe was really heavy and I'm a newbie to skiing, I look so clumsy while walking + walking path is so slippery...

Thanks to Wilson, he took care of our camera and took a few shots for us ^^
Learning to skii and my position looks so awkward ...
Learning to fall on butt... Trying to fall is pretty hard as I have to anticipate the pain *lol*
The previously day we went to loan our skill attire we also rented the ski goggle BUT I left it in the bus >.<>
Look, professional skier ...
After about 2h30 mins of fun time skiing, time for us to travel up by cable car, suppose to be by gondola but there's are kids around so we took cable car instead, a tad disappointed tho.

You can see hubby lim smile is a little forceful... It's my little silly idea asking him to hold the ticket and smile... *lol*

The cable car ride up to the snowy mountain offered a breath-taking sight... especially the skiing path...

We are at the highest point for skiing right now but there's not for us, it's for highly trained professional only... I can already imagine myself rolling down if I were to ski from here.. it's so steep... Guess the rolling session will last about 15 minutes... that long...
I'm on top of the Mountain ^^
Doing something silly... Snow bed...
Photos speaks louder than words....

Hopefully I will be able to travel by gondola next trip...
Lunch after Skiing session ... Dumpling... Somehow I love the Kimchi Dumpling, 1st time it taste good to me ... =D
Here's where we have at lunch at...
Happy Shopping at Dongdaemun Market... None is hubby stuff...
We decided to give Korea strawberry a try... Previously in SG supermarket, they are selling korea strawberry but it's all sour but to our surprise, it's sweet and good!

Today we will check in to Lotte World Hotel, it's a six star hotel and I would said for this trip, this hotel is the best...

Our room, love the bathroom, it's clean and most importantly the toilet bowl cover comes with heater... That's nice in winter :)

The view was awesome but too tired to take any shots right now... A warm bath and a good sleep for tomorrow journey... ^^

1st stop to Mount Sorak National Park...

We are early and cable care station was not open for business yet... All of us gather outside to take some pictures, kids was building snowman while waiting for the staff to arrived.

Half of the cable car covered by snow ...
Yay, cable car operating but we have to wait for about 20 minutes for the staff to test and warm up the cable car... Went around to take some photos too~

Inside the cable car, it can fir about 20 pax.
High up at Mount Sorak National Park, 635m.

2nd stop to Sinheungsa (Temple)

The whole place was covered with snow and the walking path was so slippery... I have to hold on tight to hubby if not my butt will be in trouble... Nothing special about this place, 90% of the sight-seeing = s.n.o.w...

Telephone booth attacked by Snow~~
Guide Map

I'm a happy girl with lots of snow surrounding me ^^
3rd stop Seoraksan National Park

Finally, Lunch at... I have no idea why...

We went to try out our skii attire for our skiing session after lunch and we have to move our skiiing session to tomorrow as they are closing early for public :( Nevertheless, We are still looking forward to tomorrow skiing ^^

Thanks to Wilson, we have the room facing The Phoenix Park...
Evening View... Sun-set~
Night View...

We walked over to Blue Canyon Water Themepark... It's a huge ourdoor and indoor theme park consist of wave pool, flowpool, jacuzzi and various pools facilities include water slides that are 100 and 70 meters long... There's no changing room, no bathroom, all will have to be done openly... Singaporean are not use to use, what we did was we shower with our swimsuit and to changing in the washroom. There's also a jacuzzi area that only women above 18 can enter and you have to enter all naked.

Taken a few shot using our Olympus u-tough, it's suppose to be waterproof but it died on us after about 6 shots... We can see water flooding in the screen... My new camera is gone, luckily I bought 2 camera with us for this trip.

After our swimming session, we are hungry already... went back to the hotel room to to out our stuff and get changed and get ready for dinner. Today is Valentine day and chinese new year, Coco specially order sakae and drinks for all of us, expenses on her.

This taste so nice... sweet.

Cake purchase by Coco ^^

Happy Chinese New Year and Happy Valentine Day!

Day 4 ... 13 Feb 2010

Been very lazy but also busy to update my blog...

Checked out from Jeju Grand Hotel and head over to Jeju international airport for our flight back to Incheon... Today itinerary is only Everland.

Not much pictures taken today...

Our lunch at Burger Cafe, I ordered hot choco for hubby and myself and it's so sweet but luckily I had my thermal flask with me ^^ Added in some hot water :)

Suspended Roller-Coaster was close when we visit, no idea why... I have weak heart, I doubt I have the courage to try it...

Keeping myself warm, it's cold...

After 2hour of bus journey, it's time to stop for all of us to "release" hehe
The carpark is filled with lots of snow...

As we continue our journey, our tour guide told us that in the afternoon they received a call from the hotel informing that we will have to talk for about 30 - 45 mins to the hotel as the road is close due to heavy snow... Good thing is the hotel called back about 2hour later saying they have cleared the snow, the bus can drive up now *phew*

Before that, there's another ASA group, they have to walked up to the hotel but didn't make it as one of the tour mate fell, the road was so slippery... I can totally understand the pain from the fall, I almost fall a few times but luckily hubby is always beside me ^^

It's a little bored today, I would prefer more sight seeing...

It have been raining from Morning till now, time check : 12:47pm.
