Half day work today ^^

Hubby sent me to work this office and long bang Joann along as well :)

Hubby specially sent me to work and willingly to rot nearby my office area till I knocked off as he knew I'm unhappy since yesterday, of course not unhappy with him, it's some work stuff. I'm glad I'm better now cos Hubby is with me, always by my side and to cheer me up ...

Left work at about 12.40pm and went to AMKhub as hubby wanted to submit TT and to purchase ingredient for today's cooking, it was long queue to AMKhub car-park and guess what... DBS bank is on half day and closed at 1pm. There are still people queuing inside but the security just signal to us that they are close :(

We are still not hungry so we left instead of going over to NTUC... and head to AMK Ave 10 to chien chi tow for his leg treatment as Hubby sprained ankle have not fully recover... Speed recovery for him please....

To celebrate christmas AL ordered 2 bottle of wine and ewww, so bitter =x

Total damage for this buffet lunch is about $900.00, gosh.

Rainy but happy Sunday~

Slept at about 0230am last night and need to wake up at about 0930am as I have a meet up with my church friends for christmas gifts exchange followed by dim sum lunch :)

Hubby send me to Raffles place shopping centre to meet up with the ladies and I was on time *phew* Crystal was the first to reach, i'm 2nd :) After all of us has arrived we head up to level 3 for dim sum and we ordered like last than 10 dishes and total bill came up to $$120++ which is is able S$21++ per head count... I would consider going back if it's good but ... it's not.

Congratulations to Maria, her boyfriend proposed to her last Sunday! I'm so happy for her =D

Juliana eyes was really sharp to spot the "bling bling" on her finger... *hehe*

After our dim sum session Juliana, Vivienne and Maria went down to purchase some stuff while Salene, Crystal and Myself went down to Starbuck to wait for them and I'm so glad we are able to find a spot for six pax.

Juliana bought Crystal and Myself a cake, it's from Canele and guess what! She bought me the cake I wanted to try, it's really yummy. Thanks to Vivienne for the cute '25' stars candle :)

We left and head over to church for out baptism course which starts at 0230pm and luckily by this time, the rain has already stopped.

After our baptism course, hubby brought me to Illuma and we decided to watch Avatar 3D but it's full, next on the list Sherlock Homes and it's also full, last choice was Alvin and the Chipmunks 2... There's back seats!

Illuma, the mall... is a disaster... The washroom in there stinks so badly and their floor is so sticky... I hate the carpark as well, it makes me dizzy... :P Lastly, cinema was "so-so", seats was pretty hard and after the show ended, the rubbish smell is a total turn off, as well as the sticky flooring... *sigh* Don't think I will go back again...

Our dinner at BenTen Cafe, I definitely won't go back again. Expensive price tag and I can cook better *lol* 31++ for 2 pax.

After our movie session we went up to level 7 and the arcade there seems like a higher class arcade, the games in there is so addictive... You have to insert coins to make the coins inside to drop down and to see whether you are lucky enough to hit the jackpot... There's also a Chef Daniel restaurant, a pub call Seven and a pretty big LAN game centre...

Looking forward to the next long weekend next week... ^^

The Box is too modern for this picture... *lol*, there's more of the oldies stuff in there just that she did not arrange it nicely *ha*, shall do it again soon as the response was really good and I felt so happy seeing their happy and OMG face. *lol* I shall add give stone in for the next one ^^

Long weekend *yippee*

All of us are in holidays mood already, we have no mood to work :P

PJ is the Chef today, preparing Lasagna, 2 different type of tart, some kind of cheese and to me, it look like a fermented cheese :P There's also goose liver.. plus dumpling by kenny, almond jelly by me and log cake by Joann.

Zoo Trip - 14 Dec 2009

Rise and Shine @ 6.30am, to prepare for our Zoo trip with my Mum, Grandma, Angie and KC.

I'm sooooo sleepy~

Went to pick Mummy at about 0800am and we drive to Bukit Gomak to pick Grandma up~

It's been like 19 years since I last visited Zoo, thanks to KC, we have got 4 admission pass free, so I just have to pay for mummy, grandma and maid. S$18.00 per pax... *expensive* S$18.00 is for admission only while S$25.00 will have 1x boat rides and unlimited tram rides.

Took our breakfast at Ah Meng Kopi and their set meal cost S$6.60, it's freaking expensive.

We went in at about 0915am, thank God, weather is pretty good today :)

In the middle of the zoo trip, I felt so sleepy and hubby can see my "attitude" face *lol* Oops.

Nevertheless, he's still very patience with me <3

We left the Zoo at about 12:30pm and head over to Sembawang for porridge for our lunch. Sent Angie and KC back home and then sent Mummy, grandma and maid home.... Weather is getting very warm, I just feel like hiding in our air-con room but we can't as we got delivery to do...

AVATAR in GVmax with colleagues

Florent was in Singapore for 2 weeks and just nice AVATAR is out and initially Florent wanted to watch it in iMax but form what I know there's only GVmax. Anyway, there's no iMax cinema in Singapore so far, it's only available in Science Centre.

7 pax watching AVATAR today and they are, Ian + Wife, Florent, PJ, Kenny, Hubby and myself.

We leave office at about 0730pm and as usual, slow traffic, worst still... Vivo carpark close! Why the hell they want to close the car-park. We waited for about 25 minutes just to get into Harbour Front shopping centre car-park, it was a long and slow queue.

Finally parked our car and while walking towards Vivo and we saw Vivo car-park is open *argghh* We are famished and quickly made our way to Food republic and yay, we are able to find table for seven ^^

Movies started at 0930pm and I was quite surprised why the lights on the left are still on while right side is off. Guess someone went to 'complain' and lights off for our side but light was on on the right side and it went on again... and finally off. *lol* It was about 12am when the show ended and hubby love the show so much that he wanted to watch it again, we will definitely watch AVATAR again but in 3D :) It's a gooooood show :)

Domino's Pizza at Bukit TImah

Domino's Pizza @ Bukit Timah, It's sooooo yummy and slightly pricey than Pizza Hut.

Love their Bread Stick *oh-lala~*

Waiting time about 15 minutes and you will be able to see your order via a Monitor with your name on it, staff are very friendly too *thumb up*

Guess I will not visit often as this Domino's pizza is consider too expensive for me...

This meal cost about S$30.00, 2 regular pizza, onion ring + breadstick and 2 can of coke.

Mental breakdown in Shop & save

Rinse and Shine, Mum called me at Singapore time 9am and Batam time is only 8am...Hubby and I are soooo tired due to the late night last night. We went for our breakfast at the hotel cafe at level 1 and I'm surprised that smoking is allowed in the restaurant and after our breakfast we stink badly... :(

Head back to our room and we took a 1h30mins nap and arrange for checkout at about 1130am Singapore time. The hotel has only 3 staff at the cashier + reception counter, services is a little slow. While waiting for my turn for check-out... Somehow my side eyes caught something blackie moving at quite a fast speed and I turned my head to my right and saw a huge cockroach and I quickly run to hide behind hubby and 1 of the guest uses his feet to crashed the cockroach to death, the yellow thingy came out... *ewwww* Oops, =x

Reached Singapore at about 0130pm so hubby and I decided to head for a quick lunch and to grab a tee shirt if possible as our t-shirt stink. Ended up, only mange to get a t-shirt for me as we don't have much time left...

We are late for baptism class today, all thanks to the bloody roadblock and the slow traffic and we only made it to the class at about 03.00pm, 30 minutes late... >.<

While on our way home we decided to drop by Vistapoint shop & save to buy some grocery and something really interesting happen... We grabbed the stuff we wanted and head over to the counted and queue to pay for the stuff we got and suddenly I remember that we did not take the bread so I quickly run over to the bread counter, which is very near to grab a loaf of bread, it's less than 15 seconds and I heard a woman yelling at hubby saying "WHY ARE YOU STANDING SO CLOSE TO ME"?!!! I TOLD YOU SO MANY TIMES NOT TO STAND SO CLOSE TO ME, DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?! and the problem is , hubby was not even standing close to the woman and I can see hubby face is like, what the hell and who the hell is she talking to?

I was quite pissed and run over standing beside hubby and told the woman "HE IS NOT STANDING CLOSE TO YOU, I was standing behind you earlier on!" The woman was like speechless for a few seconds and she started talking to herself and gave me the killer look and I looked at her back and suddenly the woman grab her stuff and head over to another counter to pay although she was about to pay, the cashier have to void her item. While she was walking in anger to another counter I said to her PMS and of cos, she uses the hatred and killer eye to look at me *bleah*

Another "war" started again... This time with a staff and this time the woman said "I DON'T LIKE CHINESE PEOPLE, WHY ARE YOU STANDING SO CLOSE TO ME"... I was really ROFL at that point of time this doesn't end here. 3rd time, a woman with her daughter kena...

Here's the conversation, all the while... she's yelling at the top of her voice.

Mental Woman: Why are you standing so close to me?!

Mental Woman: I told you not to stand so close to me right?!!

Mental Woman: I don't like chinese people! Get lost!!!

Mental Woman: Chinese people very rude!

Victim C was very very pissed and a little stunned but she managed to react in less than 30 seconds...

VictimC: Barbie...

VictimC: I'm not in service line, I'm customer ok!

VictimC: Why you want to disturb people?

Mental Woman: You all are the one who disturb people x 3

Mental Woman: Nobody welcome you all

Victim C: is this your shop??

and the war continue... Hubby only manage to record some part of it and we missed out the most interesting part... vulgarities was exchange and Victim C requested to see the manager and asked to call the police and in the end we have no idea how it end as we have already left.

Reached office and settle down and about 10 minutes later, the door bell rang and I went to answer... "Hello?" Got people in office liao ah? Thought is cleaning auntie wana come up take stuff and end up saw auntie taking a bouquet of flower and it's for me... from my dearest hubby =D

It's the fan! One of the blade somehow flew out and lucky no one was injure.. *phew* Angie and my butt was like glued to the sofa, don't know how to react *lol* Thanks to hubby, he quickly switch off the electricity...

Knock off at about 600pm today and went to pick up Lynn Tan at TBP to head over to Vivocity together. The traffic is horrendous, usual 15 mins journey became 45mins journey. Reached Vivo at about 0705pm and hubby and I went over to GV to pick up our movie tickets and Lynn Tan head over to Kim Gary to queue and to reserve seats while waiting for the rest to come.

Movie time~! We booked Couple Retreats at 0940pm, it's a love comedy and I would said it's a little lengthy in front but it's still worth watching as it brings laughter to all :)

And yea, I'm so happy today... Hubby sang happy birthday to me outside GV today... This is his 1st time singing the full birthday song to me and of course not to the crowd but to by ear side... Actually, not the 1st, I should said 2nd... Hubby stayed up on 03 December 2009 just to wait for the clock to hit 12am to sing me Happy Birthday song but I was half asleep and half awake and I can't remember at all when he asked me the next morning *hahahaha* =x

Fan blade...

1 of the blade was "broken" and luckily no one was hurt and good thing is Mummy used some string to tighten the fan cap last time... Small pieces of the blades flew out but we are really lucky that no one was hurt.
