Went to SATA this morning with hubby to collect the x-ray result. Upon reaching there, we will have to have our temperature taken due to the swine flu saga. After taking our temperature, we told her that we are collecting our x-ray, she told us to hold on to collect on our behalf. she returned with the x-ray disc with report and hubby gave her a shock look O-o... The report said that there's partial sacralisation of L5. Among other equally unknown medical jargons. With a tint of desperation and frustration, my hubby whined miserably at her, "so what the hell am I going to do with the report?" Ain't there any consultation to explain what all that means? Reluctantly, she ushered us inside. Once inside, we were instructed to proceed to room 11 which was the treatment room, the same filipino looking guy was there. I pity that guy for a moment as i knew Hubby was soon gonna unleash his fury on him... again....
However, in a calm tone, hubby explained to him that like that 1st time, the x-ray was normal and the "nurse in charge of the x-ray CD" (they are now in CD-ROM, no longer in abig A4 size negative) deem that the content in that envelope was all the patient needs, and this time round its the same, regardless what was written...
The pain from my right butt is excruciatingly painful every time I turn left from a flat laying position. It happens every time i lay on the bed since the the 1st 3 weeks into pregnancy. Its been around 6 months now. Hubby is very concern and worried.
Though hubby's tone was calm, the male nurse could sense strong urgency and displeasure like the 1st time hubby erupted with much harsher tone. He quickly arranged a duty doctor to attend us as soon as she is done with her current patient.(theres only 1 duty doctor on display)
Well, the doctor assured us that the descriptions on the report are quite normal as few people do have those "conditions" and yet appear normal... She suspected that it could be some tissue/growth that may have depress one of those nerves, therefore triggering the pain. Theres nothing more the x-ray could show as they dont "see" nerves, except for an MRI. She also have no idea when the pain would go away. She did however was kind enough to recommend a female chinese TCM that may help in TPY.
Before leaving, Hubby asked something like this " Is SATA like a hardware store where people come to ask for help with some complex plumbing works and the sales just suggest a spanner is all u need, buy 1 and go home and figure how to fix it.?" The female doctor laughed heartily and said no... "the nurse outside may not know what to do with it" she managed lamely...
That will be our last time there...after spending about S$100.00 on 2 cd-roms and few papers that makes no sense...
