Day 4 ... 13 Feb 2010

Been very lazy but also busy to update my blog...

Checked out from Jeju Grand Hotel and head over to Jeju international airport for our flight back to Incheon... Today itinerary is only Everland.

Not much pictures taken today...

Our lunch at Burger Cafe, I ordered hot choco for hubby and myself and it's so sweet but luckily I had my thermal flask with me ^^ Added in some hot water :)

Suspended Roller-Coaster was close when we visit, no idea why... I have weak heart, I doubt I have the courage to try it...

Keeping myself warm, it's cold...

After 2hour of bus journey, it's time to stop for all of us to "release" hehe

The carpark is filled with lots of snow...

As we continue our journey, our tour guide told us that in the afternoon they received a call from the hotel informing that we will have to talk for about 30 - 45 mins to the hotel as the road is close due to heavy snow... Good thing is the hotel called back about 2hour later saying they have cleared the snow, the bus can drive up now *phew*

Before that, there's another ASA group, they have to walked up to the hotel but didn't make it as one of the tour mate fell, the road was so slippery... I can totally understand the pain from the fall, I almost fall a few times but luckily hubby is always beside me ^^

It's a little bored today, I would prefer more sight seeing...

It have been raining from Morning till now, time check : 12:47pm.

Woke up at 5am Singapore time to get our-self ready for day 2 ^^ First Morning call by Hotel and 10 minutes later, second morning call by our tour guide, Coco.

Breakfast Buffet at... I can't remember where is it but good thing is I can remember they served drinkable free nice coffee *hehe*

Our 1st stop to Tangerine Farm, somehow I look so pale... Tangerine was sweet, love it~

5th stop, exciting horse riding ^^ Thrilling ride too, one of tour mate got "attacked" by the branches and bleed a little on his nose area... as the horse he is on went to chew the branches at the side instead of following the rest of the horses. The horse that I'm sitting on too, join in the fun, chewing the branches and it's kind of scared me for a bit as I'm worried I might fall but phew... I'm safe.

After we are done with the horse riding hubby told me what he witnessed... He had the most vivid and horrified experience witnessing a horse farting, distance less than 1.5km.. *lol*

It was raining and windy during our horse riding session, coooooold~

6th stop, Jusangjeolli...

7th Stop, Teddy Bear Museum. There's only one word to describe Teddy Bear Museum... "cute" They have outdoor teddy bear as well but not as vibrant as indoor, mostly statute and water feature.

Last Stop, NANTA Show... Kind of bored for the 1st 10 minutes that I almost doze off. Overall still ok, abit of laughter here and there.

Tiring day but happy ^^

Korea Trip 10 & 11 Feb - Day 1

Hubby and I arrived T2 at about 5.10pm to avoid the heavy traffic during peak hours. There's still a long way to go and we walked around and decided to settle down at level 2 Sakae Sushi and to my sway-ness, the staff spilled some sauce on my adidas black bag, cloth materials *faint* She apologize once and passed me some wet tissue and that's it... Bag stinks so badly, sourly smell and hubby have to head over to the washroom and wash it with hand-soap for me and we had a hard time drying it.

We checked in at about 930pm and went to shop around but didn't get anything, head over to the check in gate and rot there and there's a announcement saying that flight will be delay, reason being due to Singapore approval thingy, anyway we finally board the plane after 30 minutes later and guess what, air-con was down -_-" How lucky are we...?

Good thing is, we was given window seats^^, dinner was serve shortly, sticky seafood fried rice, so-so. Flight entertainment show wasn't that interesting if compare with SIA. I decided to sleep instead ^^ Sleep is for a better stamina for Korea *lol*

Plane landed at Incheon Airport at about Singapore time 6am+ and look out the window and it was snowing =D Finally get to see snow live! *happy*

Breakfast at Incheon Macdonald, paid by ASA. Coffee not ready yet as explained by Coco, our tour guide... Coffee will take a longer time for them to get ready, no idea why... Anyway, their coffee look like drain water and it's taste-less. We decided to ordered and paid for our cappuccino instead, it tasted different too but at least it's better and it's more for human... hehe

Done with our breakfast and waiting for the rest to be ready~

Dinner time! Sashmi buffet, pretty good but we didn't like raw food... What we did was, cook it ^^ There are also a few brave people in the tour group, eating live octopus leg... What they have to do is...

1. Open your mouth

2. Chef will choose 1 of the octopus leg and you have to bite it

3. Chef will cut the selected octopus leg and u got to chew it

Asked one of the tour mate what is the feeling like and he said "it's moving, quite itchy" -___-"

Checked in to the hotel at about 10:00pm +, SG time is about 9:00pm +...

Updates - Feb

Getting lazier to blog nowadays... Luckily there's a APP for blogspot ^^

Hubby help me with the laundry yesterday and he forgot to keep the clothing in while he came to pick me up from work and guess what... I will have to send the clothing for washing again as the clothing was soak with rain... "how nice" :(

Anyway, before that Hubby bought me to vivocity and wanting to catch a movie but there isn't any nice show that interest us so we went shopping instead^^

We had our dinner at B1 Kopitiam and seriously all the food there is really crappy, the best food court that I love so far is Raffles City Shopping Centre lvl 3 foodcourt...

We proceed to TANG after our dinner as we are lookin for a white long sleeve shirt for Hubby, for his confirmation this Sunday as his current white long sleeve is stained with ink, he tried to soak it in bleach but it just doesn't help but it works for my white dress...

Found some idea design and asked for the salesgirl help and she is so reluctant to help, when I asked for another size she gave me the "what the hell look" and that kind of "scanning" eyes looking at me from head to toe... Argh. While waiting for huuby to try it on I overheard the salesman ans salesgirl conversation.... Actually not overheard, they are standing so close to me and naturally I can hear clearly what they are talking about even when they are whispering, maybe I'm transparent to them...

Salesgirl: so how, he got buy anot?!
Salesman: at first he said yes, den later said no, den later said look around and at last he doesn't want it... *sigh*
Salesgirl: aiyah, alot of people like that one, flicker minded, try try liao don't want...
Me: execuse me, can I have size 16 for this and she is very unwilling to help...

Anyway, didn't buy from TANG as the size we wanted is out of stock.

Manage to purchase 2 long sleeves and 1 sweater for Hubby @ G2000. There's a so call promotion for those who are born in the Tiger year, spent $88 and you can be G2000 prestige member instead of the regular $200 and it takes 4 weeks for them to process the application, it's a card-less membership... *slow*

Been busy with shopping this week, for our winter gear and I guess we are done with the shopping and now, waiting to exchange some US and WON... The rate is pretty bad now :(

It's our confirmation tomorrow, 7 Feb 2010 and 4 days to our Korea trip ^^

Tiring Sunday

Attended 11:15am service and took our lunch at SAC and started to rot around Raffles City S.C while waiting for Mummy to reach City Hall.

Mummy reached City Hall at about 1:30pm and we head over to Taka for our "winter" shopping trip and ended up there's no winter wear at Taka :( We shop for abit and head over to Chinatown... While on our way to Chinatown, we asked Mummy is there any country that she wish to go and her answer is "I don't know" ....

It's a bloody warm day and in and out of air-conditionier place = "nua-nua". I saw 1 pretty nice boot and I'm sooo going to get it, it's only S$40 but... out of stock *argh* Din manage to get anything today *sigh* Bought some "hai sheng" for Mummy and wow, 4 freaking small "hai sheng" S$137.00... Eat it and poo out *lol* Anyway, she happy = I happy :)

Dinner time @ Yum Cha, it's Mummy first time there, am glad she likes it. I wana recommend Yum Cha signature hor-fun, S$12 for small serving and it's enough for 3 pax, we ordered some other dim sum as well, finally get to rest for abit. Mummy is still very energetic, I'm getting old already... Hubby leg is breaking too. It's been such a long time since we shop this long hours.

We bid goodbye to Chinatown and time to go home, thinking of having a cooling shower and to rot on my bed and hubby by my side ^^

Class started 30 minutes earlier today and tea-break is included *hehe*

We was given 2 books on DFD2 and 3, it was wrapped nicely and there's a sticker in the book stating the book is for me and signed by Revd Canon Dr.L.Tay. You may find it weird.... keke...

Lesson ended late today at about 0530pm as we have to do a 1 to 1 prayer for our group member and this is the 1st time I managed to do it nicely~~~~~ *phew* We walked over to Raffles City S.C to have our dinner and to collect my jean~

We left at about 6.40pm and head over to Delta Sport hall for our badminton session~ It's was always enjoyable playing with the professional as I tend to sweat more and to learn from them ^^

Karen bought us durian puff from Puteri Mas Pte Ltd, located at Joo Chiat. From Woodlands to Joo Chiat .... It's a long way~ 20 puff for S$11.40 and it's worth it, the durian is really yummmmmmmyyyyyy =D and how am I going to lose weight >.<

Our day @ Vivo~

We finally decided to purchase the jacket from Timberland @ Vivo, 30% off + another S$28 off~ It's the last 2 piece, we request for a transfer from Raffles to Vivo ^^Bought long John for hubby as well and now left with Gloves and scarf ^^

After our shopping trip we quickly settle down for our quick dinner and head in to GV for our movie session, The toothfairy. It's a pretty good show and it's suitable for all, 7/10.

We are still deciding whether to bring which camera for our korea trip, Canon EOS or the normal camera, hmm... 12 days to go :)

Korea Trip with ASA

It was a last minute decision to book for our Korea trip today... Thanks to hubby ^^

We walked around different travel agency to check out their offer and most of the travel agency are fully booked for CNY period and luckily there's 2 last slot from ASA! I was pretty happy about it as it has most attractive itinerary, it has got submarine tour, horse riding during winter and of course not forgetting skiing... I'm soooo looking forward to it :)

New York New York @ Jurong Point

Hubby drive me to Jurong Point for our dinner and little "kia-kia" session~ We settle down at New York New York for our lunch, I order "Give me Liberty cheese burger" while hubby order Hawaii Teriyaki Burger...

Mine came first follow by hubby and we are already happily tucking in with the food and somehow we just feel strange as hubby order a burger but it came with no burger at all... We refer to the menu again and call out to the waiter and request for a change as they gave us the wrong order....Guess what, we only manage to find out the order was wrong when the potato wages, pineapple, vegetable are already in hubby stomach~ Their service and attitude was pretty ok, passed~

Busy Monday for me and time pass so quickly too.

To avoid the jam after work, Hubby and I head over to TBP for our dinner and dessert ^^

Mango pomelo with sago... $3.50 and I will not eat it in this shop again. Sour and eewww, just not nice. So far the best mango pomelo with sago I had was at Traders Hotel *drool*

It's Sunday!

We are so tired from last night badminton game and slept till late noon~ No idea why, I'm so motivated to clean our service balcony yesterday, it's so clean and it smell good now =D

Vegetated on the sofa and watch some chinese drama that is showing some detective show on channel... Sound really bored but it's nice to vegetate at home, really :P Quickly head to shower at about 1.00pm to get myself ready to head over to church for our Building Faith Foundation class, also known as Baptism class. Phew, we are there early, thanks to the smooth traffic ^^

St. Andrew's Cathedral is the first Anglican Church to be established in Singapore. The land upon which the Cathedral stands today was given by the founder of modern Singapore, Sir Stamford Raffles, who like many English Christians of his days, was Anglican.

After the lesson by Philips we will gather for our group discussion and Dinah gave each one of us a ferrero-rocher. The chocolate came just in time, I was really hungry ^^

We went to Amara hotel to meet Hubby's dad for our dinner ^^ Dinner at Auntie Annie, introduce by hubby's dad :)

After our dinner, hubby drive to VivoCity as his dad wanted to purchase some curry power to bring it back to BJ and he was amazed how neat and big VivoMart is and hubby said his dad is SK... *lol*

While waiting for hubby to pay for the stuff I went to Watson to purchase some night cream and the brand DHC is finally in Singapore, it was so popular in Taiwan and Japan. There are also some news stores in Vivo and we shop around for abit before we send dad back.

Dinner at 5 Mohamed Sultan #01-01

Wanted to head home straight but looking at the time on our watch we decided to eat our dinner at "Moi teochew Porridge", it's just below my office... if we were to go home at the peak hours it will be super game...

Newly open and only us as their customer. We decided to try their set meal package which consist of 1 noodles/porridge, 1 longan drink and 1 dessert, S$9.90 per set.

I choose fish porridge while hubby choose "yi-mee" and my porridge is really tasteless, the noodles taste better... Service was pretty efficient as we are their only customer :P

Total damage for this really very normal dinner ... S$23.80

"Tao-Suan" taste really good but I definitely won't go back again as their a-la-carte item are very really pricey...

New Mahjong table and Mahjong set ^^

Have the urge to pee at about 6:15am so went to the washroom... On the lights and closed my eyes while entering, happily releasing and I don't know why I open my eyes and to my horror there is a freaking big cockroach crawling towards me and I so wanted to shout... My washroom is so small and I am so freaking scared that the cockroach will fly and I finally grabbed the water spray and spray at the cockroach and he change his route and hide inside the cabinet.. This is really so feraking scary... Yesterday dream and today, it's connected!

I threw the water spray on the floor and run for my life and quickly hope onto our bed and shake hubby and told him there's cockroach and I didn't flush =x .... and he console me and hug me to sleep *lol*

Head down to triple 8 for our breakfast and then to NTUC to shop for the ingredients for bake-rice experiment again... Last stop... Hubby bought us a Mahjong table and a new Mahjong Set ^^ Played for about 3 round of Mahjong and quickly went to the kitchen ti prepare the bake rice for hubby and my parent and a mini-apple pie. Sigh, crust is still too dry and thick...

Head over to Mummy's place and left about an hour later and go over to Angie's place to continue our Mahjong session, it's was really tiring. We started at about 0930pm and ended at about 0300am... I can hardly keep my eyes open *hehe* The big winner for today is Hubby Lim and Angie's MIL. When we are n our way home, the thought of heading to my bed straight came up but I can't as we have yet to put on our bed-sheet this afternoon while I sent the bed-sheet for cleaning... Thanks to my sweet hubby, he changed the bed-sheet for me and tuck me to bed, I'm just like a little kid but I seriously hate changing bed-sheet...

01.01.2009 - Happy New Year!

The long awaited year 2010 is finally, I pray that it will be better than year 2009, please...

Woke up at about 11am today and quickly rush down to buy aluminum foil for baked rice and cake holder, no idea what is it call tho... ^^ Also went to NTUC to purchase the ingredients...

The preparation begins~

Broccoli with Chicken/Pork and cheese... with Japanese rice that is specially chosen by Hubby <3,>

Tarte Tatin, a french Dessert... Thanks to PJ. My tart looks kind of funny and crust a little bit too thick... I really sweat while preparing the tart... *lol*

Rush over to pick Angie up at her place and to Mummy's place and we begin our 'makan' session immediately ... They love it and this is also the 1st time Daddy said the food I prepared is good! *hehe* I shall try making the tart again and to see if I can modified the baked rice...

After our meals, we begins our MJ session... Angie, Mummy, Hubby and Myself and obviously Mummy and I are the noobies and sotong with MJ, the two pro are definitely Angie and my hubby. Started to rain heavily for hours too and our MJ session last for about 4 hours.... O_O...

Hubby drive us all to Blk 834 "zhu chao", it's one of my favourite 'zhu chao' stall and price is definitely worth it!

Pi-pa chicken, some kind of fish with bitter ground, Spinach with garlic, Minced meat egg and Ma-mi pork rib... 5 pax and it's only S$51.00! We thought the bill will come out to about S$70.00 ...

Mummy and Daddy stay on at 834 as they are waiting for their friend while we went over to Angie's place for next round of MJ session with her and her MIL...

Rain have finally stop and while on our way home I told hubby we have to walk carefully to see if there's any cockroaches on the ground and he said "this kind of weather, abit dangerous as cockroach loves to crawl to higher place due to the rain" I was like -_-" *argh*

I dreamt of something really scary and stupid this morning... Mummy, hubby and myself was watching T.V at Mummy's old apartment and out of the sudden, there's a cockroach starting to crawl out from the kitchen and we was like O-O and hubby grab hold of the cockroach, swing it at throw it at my face! The moment he throw it out, I woke up in fear... *lol*

I continue to sleep as it was still early and hubby see that I did not cover myself with blanket her cover it for me but uses too much strength and the blanket hit my face... -_-" Clumsy! *haha*

The cockroach dream still freak me out and I just feel that I will really see one...

That's how we spent our 1st day of year 2010 :)
